With 35 years of experience in the Ontario classroom and special education settings, Sandy Zurbrigg, B.Ed., OCT, is a dedicated advocate for neuro-affirming support. As the founder of NeuroBlossom Education Services, Sandy specializes in helping students and adult learners—particularly those with ADHD, autism, and unique learning profiles—understand their inherent strengths. Her approach moves away from traditional, deficit-based models and instead focuses on co-designing practical “toolkits” and personalized routines that foster confidence, self-acceptance, and joy in everyday life.
Based in South River and serving families from Huntsville to North Bay, Sandy also serves as a vital bridge between home and school. Her expertise as an Educational Facilitator allows her to “translate” complex educational language and assessments, helping families organize documentation and navigate IEP and IPRC processes with clarity. By providing educators with actionable insights like her signature One-Page Profiles, Sandy ensures that each individual’s unique identity is honored and supported, empowering them to reach their full potential within a compassionate, strengths-based framework.
