Educational Facilitator

What is an Educational Facilitator?

Educational Facilitators help families bridge the gap between home and school. By translating complex educational language and organizing essential documentation, I ensure that your voice is heard and your child’s unique needs are understood by educators and administrators alike.

Moving from Overwhelm to Clarity

Navigating IEPs, IPRCs, and school meetings can feel like learning a second language. With over 35 years of experience in Ontario classrooms, I provide the professional insight needed to organize your documentation and prepare for meetings with a solutions-focused approach. Our goal is to foster positive collaboration between families and schools, ensuring the student remains at the center of every conversation.

Benefits of Educational Facilitation

  • Informed Decision Making: Gain a clear understanding of your rights and the educational options available within the Ontario school system.

  • Strengths-Based Documentation: I help highlight what makes a student thrive, ensuring the school sees the full picture of their potential beyond clinical labels.

  • Collaborative School Solutions: Build a bridge with teachers and administrators to ensure they have the practical tools and insights to support your child effectively.

  • Reduced Advocacy Stress: Have a professional by your side who understands the system and can help facilitate calm, productive, and goal-oriented communication.

No. A formal clinical diagnosis is not required to work with me. I honor your lived experience and self-identification. My focus is on supporting your unique learning and processing profile, regardless of whether you have a formal label or documentation.
